Introduction (Core aim of the workshop)According to research, informal carers provide over 80% all care in Europe. Despite their vital role, carers’ needs are rarely discussed. Yet, demographic ageing puts under growing pressure, with negative outcomes on health and wellbeing. Over last few years, much has been done take forward agenda. However, success initiatives aiming address depends interplay between a broad set social policies developments have often implemented siloed manner. This workshop will present inspiring carer-led focusing different stages carer ‘journey’ where private, public voluntary sector organisations collaborate around more carer-friendly approaches.BackgroundIn Europe, estimated value unpaid - as percentage cost formal long-term ranges from 50 90 %.
